In 2022, I published a Substack post connecting the current moment of AI image generation to Czech theorist Vilém Flusser’s decades-old theories around technical images.

In October 2024, professor Joerg Blumtritt reached out to me to adapt the essay as a guest lecture for Wheaton College’s Institute for Interdisciplinary Humanities, which I gave to a packed hall of undergraduates with strong opinions on AI.
